QUALIFYING FOR THE PROGRAM

 In order to participate in Florida’s medical cannabis program, you must be a Florida resident (or seasonal) and have a qualifying medical condition. Patients diagnosed with any of the following conditions are eligible to participate:

Anxiety 

Pain

PTSD

Cancer

Epilepsy

Glaucoma

HIV

AIDS

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)

Crohn’s disease

Parkinson’s disease

Multiple sclerosis (MS)

Medical conditions of the same kind or class as or comparable to those above

A terminal condition diagnosed by a physician other than the qualified physician issuing the physician certification

Chronic nonmalignant pain caused by a qualifying medical condition or that originates from a qualifying medical condition and persists beyond the usual course of that qualifying medical condition.

PHYSICIAN CERTIFICATION

In order to issue your medical cannabis certification, one of our physicians will perform an examination and determine if you have a qualifying medical condition.  At this time, the physician will indicate the product type and quantity of medical cannabis you’ll be authorized to obtain. You’ll need to provide your email to the physician so that you can create your patient account and receive important updates from the registry. If you plan to have a caregiver, your physician will need to include their email address as well.

PATIENT APPLICATION
WE WILL WALK YOU THROUGH THIS DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT

Once your physician certification has been submitted, you’ll need to complete your patient application. You’ll receive an email from the registry at the email address you provided your physician, which will allow you to start your online application. You’ll need to provide basic information, proof of permanent or temporary Florida residency, and make payment of the $75 processing fee. We do this with you so your application is accurate and complete before submission to prevent delays in your approval.
Please note that it takes about 2 weeks for the state to approve the application.  Your payment has to clear for 5 business days before the application review process begins and the review could take an additional 5 business days.

PLACING AN ORDER

Once your patient application is approved you’ll receive an email.  You’ll now be able to visit any Florida dispensary, place orders, and schedule home deliveries with just your drivers license and cash.  A physical card will be sent in the mail, but it takes about 30 days until you receive it.
